Photooptic Ltd. produces contrast metal-dielectric optical coatings with low reflection and adjustable transmission.
Specular reflectance of contrast enhancing coating is usually less than 0.3%.
Visible transmission may be selected from 20 to 70%.
Contrast enhancing coating are widely used for aircraft LCD and plasma displays.
Typical specular reflection and transmission curves of the light-absorbing coatings are shown in Fig. 1 and 2, and of the CEF.T30 - in Fig. 3 and 4.
